Membership

Church membership is not like membership at a local country club. Most often, we think that if I am a member, I have access to certain perks or benefits as a result of my membership. Church membership is the opposite of that. It is saying, this is my church home, and I am committed to making a contribution to my local church to help see it become an effective part of the community.
